Shipping Policy & Information


Regular Fulfillment Times: We strive to fulfill orders within 3-6 Business days. You will receive shipping notification when your package is filled which will update as it gets scanned at the Post Office.  You may receive shipping notification for Sub Bags earlier than when they are set to be dropped off at the P.O. since these orders take several days to package.  These may not update for several days.

Collection of the Month Releases & Holiday Sales: It may take us a little longer to process your order with the amount of orders we receive during a Collection of the Month release which is usually the 1st of each month.  If you place an order during the first 3-4 days of a collection release please allow 3-10 Business days for your order to be filled.  There may also be a delay in processing during restocks or holiday sales. 

We try to plan ahead, especially during releases and sales, but since all of the dip powders we sell are hand mixed and packaged, we ask for a little grace during this time. To see up to date shipping times, join our Facebook group page for updates.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

**Please be aware that due to COVID, the USPS is moving at a slower rate than normal and doing what they need to handle the volume of packages they are receiving as well as keeping their employees safe.  We have no control over how fast the post office ships our items.  We try to fulfill them as quickly as possible, but you may still see a significant delay once they are shipped and tracking may not always be updated during this time.  Although we hope that it does not take this long, we ask that you allow up to 30 Business Days for your package to arrive after it's ship date due to USPS delays. Lately they have been averaging about 2 week to arrive.  

SHIPPING: We offer free shipping to the U.S. on all single orders $40 and over. All orders $39.99 and under are $4.50 for standard shipping. This does not include shipping insurance. If you would like to have your package insured, you must choose Shipping Insurance at check out. If you choose not to add this to your cart, no insurance will be applied to your package including ones that qualify for free shipping. We have also added an option at check out to add Signature Confirmation to your order. You can even add this ($2.35) on Free Shipping Orders by adding it to the notes sections of your order & we will invoice you for this.

What happens if your package is lost, stolen or damaged and you purchased the $1 insurance?
1.) You must contact us within 10 days of your package being marked as delivered according to your tracking information. Or 5 days if your package arrives damaged.
2.) If your package says delivered, but it is not in your mailbox, you must follow this link to have USPS open a case for your missing package. Hopefully, they will be able to locate your package and get it to you. If not, please forward their email response about what happened to your missing package to us. (we can help you fill out this form if you would like!)
3.) If your package arrives damaged, please do not throw away any of the packaging or items. We will need photos of both of these to file the claim.
4.) If you package was stolen please make sure to check with you local post office to make sure it was not delivered to the wrong address. You must then file a police report and email a copy to us.
Without insurance, Rocky Mountain Dip Powder is not responsible for items lost in transit or items that say Delivered, but turn out to not be in your mailbox or on your porch. Or for items that are damaged by the Post Office.


PLEASE NOTE:  All of our jars are filled by weight (not volume). We offer .25 ounce and .5 ounce. Each jar will be filled to the appropriate weigh, but may be different volume levels since powder, glitters, flakes, & foils all weigh a different amount.  We take pride in making quality products and getting orders fulfilled as quickly as possible.  We always want you to get what you ordered. If you ever receive an order that has broken or missing items, please message our business page immediately so that we can resolve this issue. If your item is incorrectly addressed by us, we will correct this problem asap. If you did not purchase Shipping Insurance at check out, Rocky Mountain Dip Powder is not responsible for items lost in transit or items that say Delivered, but turn out to not be in your mailbox or on your porch. Please call your Local Post office (not the general number) if your package says Delivered, but is not in your mailbox. Hopefully this is just a matter of waiting a few days for it to really be delivered. Your local office will be able to look into your specific delivery and maybe help get it to you.  

OUTSIDE MAINLAND US & INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  Shipping outside the Mainland U.S. (Alaska, Hawaii and outlying US Islands) and shipping to Canada and the UK is calculated at checkout.

* Depending on your country, additional customs charges may be incurred in order to receive your package from customs. Rocky Mountain Dip Powder is not responsible for any extra charges that may accrue due to customs or international taxes upon arrival to the destination country.  

FREE LOCAL PICK-UP:  If you live in or around Loveland, CO and would like to pick up your package, it is your responsibility to choose local pick up at check out or  add a message at check out to let us know you do not want it shipped.  We will let you know when your order is ready an arrange a day and time for you to pick up your order.  Our regular processing times still apply.  Once we arrange a time for pick up, your shipping will then be refunded to you in the original for of payment. 

RETURN POLICY: Due to the nature of these products, we can not accept returns and All Sales Are Final.

Defective items can be exchanged or refunded if no longer available within 10 days of receiving it at no extra charge. Please provide photos/video of your defective item so we can evaluate and help. We do our best to provide many photos of our products in our store and Facebook site. The photos are as close to actual colors as possible. However, different lighting and screens may vary those colors. If you receive a color that you believe is “wrong”, please contact us within 10 days so we can evaluate the issue.  We are unable to accept defective claims after 10 days from the date of delivery. If a refund is needed, it will be in the original form of payment.

For missing items in your order, please contact us immediately so we can send your missing items right away.  

* We are a home based business and do have a dog that lives in our home. Although our business space is separate, dog hair may travel or stick to plastic jars, bags, etc. so if you have a pet allergy, please be aware of this.
